In the Hall in the Valley of the Kings, I am a servant. In the hierarchy of their society, I am of the lowest caste, put on this planet for the singular purpose of respect and servitude and gratefulness to her, our Mother Earth. #cypripediumacaule #nofilterneeded

I am so happy my fig was able to vernalize properly, even faced with the disadvantage of being planted too late in the season, last summer ^.^

My children (my plants), the only consistent happiness I know in my life. It brings me so much joy to see them grow up strong and healthy. Knowing that I was even the smallest part of that is an honour. Take these Bletila orchids: I have had them for almost three years, and they have double every year I’ve had them. I started out with 4 stems, now I have 16! … A wonderous transformation to behold.
